Ghana international, Godfred Donsah says he is delighted after extending his contract with Bologna and have insisted he is determined to help club the excel in the upcoming season.
Donsah fend off interest from clubs and pledged his allegiance to Bologna by signing a new deal with the club that will keep him up to 2022.
The 23-year-old is thankful to have been rewarded with a fresh deal.
“I thank the company for the extension of the contract, Bologna gave me everything here I found a second family,” he said after signing the deal.
“This year I’m loaded, we want to make a big league. Mister Inzaghi is giving us a great charge both on and off the field. ”
Bologna were unwilling to release the player which forced them to hand him a new contract.
The Ghanaian midfielder has been a regular starter in the team since joining the Club from fellow Italian Club Cagliari.
