Former President Jerry John Rawlings says he is yet to watch, ‘Contract for Sale’ documentary which implicated the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) CEO, Adjenim Boateng Adjei in a conflict of interest situation.
“I haven’t heard of “Contract for sale’ documentary…No I haven’t…I am not keeping up or been abreast of some of these events. But I will and when I do you can come back,” he told Maxwell Agbagba of Joy News, and other journalists on Saturday.
Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings after casting his vote at the Osu castle polling center, in Accra, in NDC’s Korle Klottey parliamentary elections, said; “We must continue the fight against corruption. It has destroyed too much. A-G to collaborate with Martin Amidu to ensure that the right things are done.”
The documentary by investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni which was telecast on Multimedia networks, got the country talking after the President suspended Mr. Agyenim Adjei and petitioned the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) and the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) to probe the embattled PPA CEO.
