Former Black Stars goalkeeper, Abukari Damba is convinced that Jordan Ayew has the potential to be better than Asamoah Gyan.
The onetime Ghana number one mentioned that Ayew is versatile upfront and keeps improving game after game which means he can surpass the country’s greatest attacker of all time.
“Jordan could be better than Asamoah Gyan. He can be used in multiple functionalities, he can be used as a typical playmaker or as a lead striker.”Abukari Damba stated on The Tracker on Citi TV.
“He has grown over a period and has become a better player who is confident and strong on the ball. He is a proper team player and can fit in any team,”
Ayew, 28, has netted sixteen goals in 58 games for Ghana since making his debut on September 5, 2010 against South Africa.
