'Leaked' Ghana squad for 2019 AFCON

Ghana’s final 23-man squad for 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Cup has been leaked, Footballmadeinghana.com can exclusively report.

The official announcement is expected to be made later today, but a Black Stars insider has disclosed the details to this website.

And if accurate, France-based striker Abdul Majeed Waris and Ebenezer Ofori (New York FC, USA) will not be on the plane to Egypt.

The FC Nantes forward has been overlooked by coach Kwesi Appiah in favor of Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace, England), Caleb Ekuban (Trabzonspor, Turkey) and Kwabena Owusu (Leganes, Spain).

Yaw Yeboah (Numancia, Spain), Mohammed Alhassan (Hearts of Oak, Ghana) have also missed out, alongside Abdul Fatawu (Asante Kotoko, Ghana).

Ghana has been paired in Group F alongside defending champions Cameroon, Benin and Guinea Bissau

The Black Stars will begin their campaign against Benin on June 25, 2019 at the Ismail Sports Stadium.
