Black Stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso was sent off in Deportivo Alaves 3-1 defeat to Granada in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday afternoon.
The Ghanaian international was introduced in the 36th minute of the match for injured Tomas Tina and receive his first caution of the encounter four minutes after coming on.
Wakaso then received his marching orders in the 67th minute of the match in what is his first red card of the season.
The midfielder has received nine yellow cards and a red card in fourteen league matches with goal contribution of zero for both goals and assists so far in the campaign.
Deportivo Alaves sits 16th on the league table after 16 matches with 18 points.
