The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has named a 15-member Campaign Team/Taskforce to manage its electioneering activities in the Northern Region ahead of the 2016 general polls.
The team was selected by the Northern Regional Executive Committee of the NDC in consultation with the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Akatamansonians.
The 15-member Campaign Team/Taskforce is lead by the Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna.
Other members of the taskforce are Chief Sofo Azorka, Hon. Abdallah Abubakari, Lawyer Halid Abdul-Rauf, Tanko Rashid Computer and Wumbei A. Godred.
The rest are Madam Olivia Hawa Yahaya, Abdul-Mumin Alhassan Fuseini, Alhaji Mohammed Adam Amin Abio, David Wuni and Hon. Bukari Ninkpe.
Others are Hon. Inusah Fuseini, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Hajia Fati Forgor and Hajia Mumuni Memunatu Dela.
A statement dated August 10, 2016 and signed by the Regional Secretary of the umbrella family, Halid Abdul-Rauf entreated all party activists, supporters and sympathizers to give the taskforce the utmost support it deserves for them to deliver the “Agenda Deliver all seats; JDM Zang-Tugi; Tanchisu and Dinab”.
