Center back, Rashid Sumalia got back from injury to feature in Al Qadisiya’s stalemate with Ruben Gnagne’s Al Naser in the Kuwaiti Premier League.
The Black Stars defender hasn’t been in action for two months battling an ankle injury. Rashid Sumaila however featured for the entire duration of the game his team’s goalless draw with Al Naser, where former Hearts of Oak defender, Ruben Gnagne plays.
Opponents Al Naser are seeking to bounce back from relegation in the Kuwait Premier League and were red hot for victory against Al Qadisiya.
The result now put Rashid Sumalia’s Al Qadisiya in the second position of the Kuwaiti Premier League. They have 27 points after 18 matches played while Gnagne battles to push Al Naser out of the drop zone.
