Samira Suleman embarks on Ambassadorial project in deprived communities

Black Queens attacker Samira Suleman has embarked on an ambassadorial project as part of her aim to help impact and educate young female footballers.

The Ghanaian female international who has been involved in charity works for some time now is current in the Northern Region where she has been visiting deprived schools in certain communities as part of her works as a role model.

Suleman, wants to set herself as a big example to young lads aiming to take up the game (Football) as a career.

The 26-year-old has chalked personal successes as a football player.

She has played and captained one of Ghana’s successful female teams (Hasaacas Ladies) where she led the side to clinch the National Women’s League in 2015.

The attacker has also represented the Black Maidens, Black Princesses and Black Queens at the FIFA World Cup and Africa Women’s Championship.

Many youngsters will hence be looking up to the successful footballer who has also had stints in Iceland for Víkingur Ólafsvík.

In 2016 she was nominated by the Sports Writers Association of Ghana for the best female footballer award.

The player who was overlooked for the WAFU Women’s Championship in Cote d’ Ivoire could make her way back to the National team as the Queens prepare for the Africa Women’s Championship which will be hosted in Ghana.
