Schalke O4 U-19 coach Charlles Takyi has disclosed that he main ambition is to help young footballer realize their dreams of becoming professionals.
The former Ghana international spent most of time playing active football in Germany before moving on to become a coach.
He is now with former club Schalke O4, where he works with experience talent hunter Norbert Elgert.
“It's a great job, I can learn a lot. I want to develop myself further as a trainer as far as possible. I have been very lucky in football and in life and I want to help young players achieve their dreams," he said.
Takyi also worked with former FC Koln Holger Stanislawski, and admits he has great deal of respect for the former footballer who shaped his coaching career.
"I have too much respect for Stani, he has shaped me too much, we have achieved great things with him. He will always be a special person for me," he added.
