Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey is expected to start for Atletico Madrid in their UEFA Champions League crunch match against Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday evening.
Partey was excellent as Atletico earned a 1-0 victory in the first leg at the Wanda Metropolitano. Barren any unforeseen circumstance, Partey will start at the home of the reigning champions.
The 26-year-old has been very instrumental for Atleti this season, having made a combined 31 appearances in La Liga and Champions League.
Liverpool are hoping for another spectacular European night at Anfield to eliminate Atletico but Diego Simeone and his players appear very confident of progressing.
Atletico have only won three of their previous 11 games in all competitions while Liverpool ended their two-game winless run last weekend with 2-1 win over Bournemouth.
