Midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has returned to Deportivo Alaves after a brief time in his native Ghana.
The 28-year-old had been in Ghana for the Christmas festivities.
Wakaso while in Ghana attended the wedding anniversary of his club teammate Patrick Twumasi.
The former Rubin Kazan man has now returned to his club as they prepare for their summer camp ahead of the resumption of the second half of the season.
Alaves had a fabulous first half of the season where they are now 5th and fighting for a Champions League spot finish.
Wakaso played 12 games in the first round of La Liga and is getting primed for the league’s resumption January 5.
