Hearts of Oak Board member, Alhaji Akambi has backed the club’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Frederick Moore who has come under fire as the supporters want him out of office.
Frederick Moore is reported to have used some vulgar words at the leaders of the National Chapters Committee at a private meeting.
The Supporters Group in response have threatened to boycott the President Cup match against their arch-rivals Asante Kotoko which comes off on Sunday 15 December, 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium if he is not sacked.
In an interview, Alhaji Akambi said despite the calls for him to be sacked the Board is pleased with his work and have no plans of sacking him.
“Frederick Moore is doing very well as the Managing Director leading the club. If we are not satisfied with him, definitely we would have taken a decision on him long ago.", he told Oyerepa FM.
"He is doing very well leading the club and we are satisfied. If he was not doing well, we would have shown him the exit ", he added.
