Some commercial drivers have ‘threatened’ to disregard the social distancing directive by President Nana Akufo-Addo in their commercial buses if their earnest request for an increase in transportation fares have not been addressed.
Nana Akufo-Addo gave the social distancing in commercial buses directive on March 27, 2020, during his 4th address to the nation on measures to control the spread of the deadly pandemic.
Despite this, a driver working from the Tema Station to Madina filled his bus to capacity at 8:42 am today, July 6, 2020, in order to increase his sales.
