Ex-Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah
Ex-Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah has been unveiled as his country's Peace Ambassador ahead of November's crucial polls.
Appiah together with ex-Arsenal star, Sol Campbell, former Ghanaian-born Dutch international George Boateng and other ex-footballers will play two games to send the message of peace to Ghanaians, ahead of the November elections.
The first of the two games will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium against Asante Kotoko in Kumasi, while the second will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium, against the Black Stars.
Besides these two games, Appiah will be visiting the Zongo communities, other regional capitals, and towns to interact with citizens of the need to ensure that the peace in the country is maintained before, during and after the November elections.
