Agyemang-Badu eliminated from Coppa Italia with Udinese

Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu's hopes of trophy success in the Coppa Italia ended on Saturday as his Udinese side was eliminated from the competition.

The Black Stars third-in-command lasted the entire duration of the game at the Dacia Arena in Udine.

Badu won a penalty for his side, but the spot kick was wasted by the Serie A side.

Spezia showed quality and won the game 3-2 to secure their progress to the next stage of the competition.

Badu and his Udinese side must now turn their focus on the Serie A which will begin later this month.
