Thank you. The only jobs the university offer indigenes are casual labourer jobs and not skilled ones. There are graduates from Winneba who have applied for jobs at the university and have been refused. The top management use their office to steal money for their step children to do masters degrees with the focus of placing their unqualified children and relatives into senior positions before they retire. There is an instance where the registrar gave study leave with pay to his step daughter who was a junior staff, who never served as a senior staff to pursue a masters degree in Kumasi winneba campus; whilst there were other qualified staff who have served as senior staff for years and denied the opportunity to secure study leave with pay because of their internal politics. Similarly, a staff and an indigene of Winneba suffered an unexpected transfer to Ajumako campus because they alleged he (staff) has been releasing information to the chiefs and people of Winneba on the transfer of the distance education center to Techiman. The loot and share and the wrong offer of contract at the university is nothing to write home about. The new minister of Education and the new council have a lot to do especially set an independent auditors to audit the financial stance of the university. Staff feel intimidated and afraid to work and speak. MP, you know all these. Use your position to fight for liberation and equity for staff and people of winneba.

Mr. Afenyo Markin,as a member of Parliament, how much is your annual salary as an MP? And assuming you have other sources of income, How could you afford the donations you generously gave to some citizens of your constituency? To be honest with Mr. Markin, the fact that you made that kind of generous donations, give people like me cause to reasonably question where you got/get that kind of wealth/money from. Even if we grant you the benefit of the doubt, we still cannot get our heads around your generosity. Mr. Markin, could you set the record straight as to how you got rich. Considering, how much we the people think about members of parliament as being corrupt and not honest to their constituents, your action no matter how much generous it was, somehow create the perception that, when it comes to solicitations for bribes, before some perform their civic duty as MPS, our public representatives are no exception. Consequently, some of their actions give us cause to wonder if we have the right kind of incorruptible and honest people in parliament as our representatives. Your generosity is unbelievable and leaves much to be desired.

putting monies into peoples pocket either by policy or benevolence, once the aim is achieved i dont think we have a course to complain. cos there so many to way to kill the cat
