Ghanaians sometimes pretend they are unaware of happenings in this country. Go to Elubo for instance and you find convoys of Ivorian cargo trucks, with drums welded underneath them as spare tanks, loading fuel to be sent to their country. One such truck takes a century to fill all of its artificial tanks before another in the queue takes over.
A poor taxi driver who wishes to buy "one gallon" would have to move elsewhere or .......Most often I wonder where we are heading as a Nation. Nobody cares huuuuu. I rest my small case.

We are still waiting for the NDC men to refute the allegations from the Minister. Was this due to pure incompetence or a just a device to plunder the wealth of the country?

ANKORA WASH DC or whatever your true identity is, stop politicizing the issue as though is it being perpetuated by NDC bigwigs only. I am privileged to be a part of the oil and gas industry as a petroleum chemist and i am telling you on authority that, this practice of oil theft or smuggling has been an age long practice in Ghana ,championed by politicians from both NPP and NDC.

a;so tackle the huge and rampant smuggling of petroleum products by the dozens of fuel stations stationed along our borders. For example from Ho to Aflao, there are not less than 55 new filling stations set up on the right and left side s of the main trunk road. At night and day time Togolese entrepreneurs dig in at these filling stations to cart our precious fuel to Togo, using Togolese and Ghanaian motor bike riders, who load the products in yellow jerry cans. By day break the contents of whole underground tanks are emtied on daily basis.
Who are the owners of these fuel filling stations? How many vehicles are in the Volta Region to warrant the proliferation of dozens of these stations?
The Minister must act now, as this practice intensified since the corrupt Mahama regime, in the past 8 years.
