Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari believes his return to the Black Stars team will base on hard work.
The 32-year-old has been away from the Black Stars team for the past three years.
Muntari was suspended indefinitely from the senior National team after an alleged misconduct at the team’s camp during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The former AC Milan star has not been handed an invitation despite showing remorse and apologizing for his actions.
The 2010 UEFA Champions League winner believes hard work can secure him a call-up back to the Black Stars team.
“I met him recently and we discussed. I am free agent now but hope to get a team soon but my return to the national team will depend on hard-work,” said Muntari on Friday evening immediately after he arrived in Uganda.
He is currently in Uganda for a UN Ambassadorial tour with former AC Milan playmate Keisuke Honda.
