Majority shareholder of Hearts, Togbe Afede XIV, is expected to release over Ghc 8million to the six-member Committee who have been tasked to overlook player recruitment, Ghanacrusader.com can exclusively reveal.
The Phobians have been quite so far in the transfer market with no major signings ahead of the 2017/18 football season but have been linked with numerous players from within and outside Ghana.
A source close to the team told Ghanacrusader.com that, Hearts will make some recruitments ahead of the upcoming season as the coach is closely working with the six-member committee to ensure quality in recruitment.
“Togbe Afede XIV will release close to GHc8million – Ghc10million for the recruitment of players for the upcoming season, and the six-member committee are vigorously working hard with the head coach to secure the services of some listed players,” the source told Ghanacrusader.com.
Meanhwile, Hearts are keen on acquiring the services of former New Edubiase player, Aseidu Attobrah, who has emerged a top transfer target for the club.
