He conceded two goals that irked his coach, Bashir Hayford who described the goals “gifts” to Karela United. And ahead of Ebusua Dwarfs’ match day five fixture against Bechem United at Obuasi, Len Clay Stadium, goalkeeper Frank Andoh says the team will improve to satisfy the fans.
Andoh urged Dwarfs supporters to back the team especially in difficult times adding that, he’s put the bad experience in Karela United match well behind him. “Against Kerala we conceded very early. I think it was under one minute. It brought the team spirit down but we were able to contain the pressure to the end of the first half” said the goalie as he narrated what happened in the match.
“In the second department of the game, we were down by a goal but play was great and better, but unfortunately there was a free kick in our goal area and I saved that situation but because we were down I was in hurry to start the attack, my striker was in a better position, unfortunately my hand hit the goalpost and the ball felt down and they scored the second goal. It wasn’t my intention to let the team down” Andoh added.
