A health facility intended to serve residents of Atonsu-Kuwait in the Asokwa Municipality of the Ashanti Region, has been abandoned despite having been completed for almost six years.
The facility is now occupied by some workers of the Electricity Company of Ghana.
The intended health facility, according to residents of Atonsu-Kuwait, has also become a venue for funeral and social activities.
Residents of the community are, therefore, calling on the government to immediately inaugurate the health post for its intended purpose.
