Former Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng has signed a contract with Gibraltar side Europa FC as a player-coach.
Boateng, 35, has not been active since leaving Greek side OFI Crete F.C.
The well-traveled Ghanaian is expected to join Europa FC as a player-coach as he looks to transition into club management.
This will be the 13th team the Ghanaian will be playing for abroad since joining Kalamata in Greece in 199.
He has previously played for Panathinaikos, AIK, Beitar Jerusalem, FC Köln, Getafe, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, Fulham, Rayo Vallecano, Eibar 13 and Rayo OKC.
Boateng earned 47 caps and scored once for the Ghana national team.
