Afriyie Acquah marked his Empoli debut against Cagiliari
Midfielder Afriyie Acquah as expressed satisfaction at his 'memorable' debut for Empoli on Sunday in their Serie A opener.
The 26-year-old acquitted himself in the 2-o win over Cagliari at home,
Acquah was named in the starting lineup despite having just one training session with the team he joined on transfer deadline day.
But the 26-year-old adjusted well and made his wealth of Serie A experience count.
He bossed the right side of the midfield as goals from Rade Krunic and Francesco Caputo sealed the win.

He has previously played for Palermo, Parma, Sampdoria and Torino in the Italian top-flight.
