Black Stars and Levante forward, Emmanuel Boateng has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with giant sportswear Nike.
The deal would see the youngster, promoting the popular brand, by using their products during matches and feature in their magazines.
Boateng, who made this known to 3Sports, noted that the deal had come at the right time.
“It would urge me to work harder for more of such opportunities in my career. I know it would urge me to give out my best and help my club and the national team get to higher heights.”
“I am very elated to have this sponsorship package, it is the dream of every young player to be recognized for what he does better and this goes a long way to show that hard work pays,” Boateng noted
“I have been working hard to hit my best, after I sustained an injury at our pre-season and now I feel very good and delighted to crown it with this deal.”
Boateng, who has recovered ahead of time for Levante’s derby against Valencia in the week three of the La-Liga, joins the tall list of elite soccer players like Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba, Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wesley Sneijder, Wayne Rooney and Landon Donovan, among others, who have all benefitted from Nike sponsorship.
