Embattled Managing Director of Obengfo Hospital, the Advanced Body Sculpt Centre, Dr Dominic Obeng-Andoh has finally broken his silence over circumstances leading to the death of Deputy CEO of the National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP), Stacy Offei-Darko.

According to him, the liposuction as required by the deceased who was not new to his facility was successful and therefore cannot be held accountable for her death.

“My client came for liposuction and I later heard that she had died but she didn’t die as a result of the liposuction because there were no complications associated with the procedure. She has been at my hospital twice and so why would she come back again for the second time if indeed we didn’t do a good job,” he quizzed.

On claims, the late NEIP Deputy CEO died at his facility and that the body was kept for days before the bereaved family was informed, he said “It’s not true that we kept her body and deposited it at the morgue for 4 days.

That didn’t happen. If someone loses his or her life at a hospital, can the body be at the morgue after four days? No. We did nothing untoward as far as her death was concerned. I won’t make any further comments because the issue is still in court”

Dr Obengfo who has been charged with murder by an Accra Magistrate Court is currently on bail.

Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Constituency Kennedy Agyapong who lost his Baby’s Mama under mysterious circumstances at the facility of the embattled doctor disclosed that he is yet to see the last of him and will never get the opportunity to ‘kill’ another person in the unlikely event he is freed.

He is of the conviction the 37-year-old Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP) Stacy Offei-Darko death gives room for much suspicion about the modus operandi of Dr Obeng and his cohorts at a facility that turned out to be unlicensed.

“I have not heard about that doctor until this incident happened. Someone told me the doctor has killed several persons but he has killed his last and the law must take its course. I am concerned and I need justice for my six-year-old daughter who stays with me”, he revealed on Net 2 TV.
