Kotoko has tasked Coach CK Akunnor to win next year’s Africa inter-club competition.
Akunnor was appointed by the Ghanaian giants on a three-year deal.
The former Black Stars captain earned himself the top job at Kotoko after a successful time with Dreams FC and Ashanti Gold.
General Manager of Kotoko, George Amoako says the former Hearts of Oak Coach has been mandated to win an African title with the Club.
“CK is an experienced Coach and we believe we made the right choice, we have actually tasked him to win the Africa Champions League or CAF Confederation Cup competition,” he spoke to Atinka FM.
“That is immediate target and we are confident he will achieve that.”
CK Akunnor signed on Monday and will be joining the playing body later today at the team’s training ground where he will take over from assistant Coach Akakpo Patron who was temporarily taking charge of the team after the exit of Paa Kwesi Fabin
