Ghana assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has wished defender Daniel Amartey well after his horrific injury during Leicester City's English Premier League game with West Ham United.
Amartey, who was deployed at right-back, left the field with his leg in a brace having suffered a serious-looking ankle injury following a clash with West Ham's Michail Antonio.
The Leicester player appeared to catch his studs in the turf and twisted his leg.
The 23-year-old received oxygen on the pitch as his concerned team-mates crowded around before being taken off to applause from supporters.
Maxwell Konadu who will be hoping to have Amartey fit for Ghana's AFCON qualifier with Ethiopia next month posted on Twitter "Get well soon Amartey".
