Each passing day proves that Ghana is not short on talents when it comes to technological innovations.
In the last couple of years, the country has had a crop of youthful innovators who have done very well for themselves.
The latest to join this league of amazing innovators is a young boy from Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region.
Currently a student of Don Bosco Technical Institute, this young boy has already carved a niche for himself with his innovations.
He has made a wardrobe from a paper box that doesn’t need keys to open. Rather the wardrobe – names G3 – can be opened using a paper chip.
“I make these things through inspiration. For instance, I made a car when I saw one. I also make other things that are not in existence like the wardrobe that can only be opened with the chip,” he said on what motivates him.
He has also made a car that doesn’t require a key to move. The car responds to phone calls and it automatically moves.
According to him, the aim is “to help Ghana produce such products without importing them from other countries.”
Another of his eye-catching innovations is a solar board for charging mobile phones. He called on the government to support innovators in the country, in order to take their crafts to the next level.
