Ghanaian defender John Boye has been named in the Metz squad to face RC Lens on Saturday.
The game at the Stade Saint-Symphorien is a must-win for Ligue 2 leaders Metz as any slip could see second-placed Brest tying them at the top on 49 points if they beat Auxerre.
Boye has been a pillar at the back for Frederic Antonneti’s side and he is expected to maintain his position in the heart of defence with Zambian Stopila Sunzu for today’s clash.
With RC Lens occupying fifth place and eyeing Ligue 1 promotion, John Boye and his charges at the back need to be at their maximum best to stop the likes of Senegalese attacker Yannick Gomis who has netted ten league goals this season.
Boye has made 21 league appearances for Metz this season.
