Ahead of his side’s decisive clash with ZESCO United on Sunday, C K Akonnor is looking to take advantage of the porous defence of the Zambians.
The Zambians have conceded 9 goals in five games, six of them in the last two games of the CAF Confederation Cup against Nkana FC .and Al Hilal.
The Porcupine Warriors need just a win over the Zambians on Sunday to qualify to the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking to Footballmadeinghana.com ahead of the game, the former Ashanti Gold coach is hoping his side can take advantage of the shortfalls of their opponents and punish them.
“It tells you they have a weakness. It tells you they will check what is wrong. Once they check and check well. You the next opponent will struggle.
“But it gives us the belief that if we do things right, we can score. At the same time we fear that they have identified their mistakes and will not make unnecessary mistakes.
It’s a make or break for the Porcupine Warriors and anything short of a win will see them pack out at the group stage.
