Dutch national team manager Ronald de Boer has hinted that AZ Alkmaar striker Myron Boadu is in line for his first senior team call up.
As of now, the 18 year old who is of Ghanaian descent is still eligible to play for the Black Stars as he has not featured for the Netherlands even though he turned out for their junior sides.
But the time is ticking for the Ghana FA to make their move or risk losing one of the hottest prospects in world football.
”Boadu now shows every week that he is a good player,” De Boer told Fox Sports in Netherlands.
“He and Donyell Malen of PSV are definitely knocking on the door,”
Boadu earned his first professional contract last season and went ahead to make one appearance.
After two matches in Eredivisie this season, the striker has been involved in three goals – one goal and two assists.
