A member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh, a.k.a Kabila has joined a number of people calling for the dissolution of the entire board of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA).
This was after its CEO, Adjenim Boateng Adjei was suspended following an expose by investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni, 'contracts for sale'.
In the documentary, the PPA boss is seen allegedly selling government contracts through his own private company Talent Discovery Limited (TDL).
TDL, which was incorporated in June 2017, has won a number of government contracts through restrictive tendering.
Speaking to this in a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Kabila commended President Akufo-Addo for suspending the PPA boss but urged him to also dissolve the board since they are also complicit.
