For the umpteenth time, a miner has been killed at the Shaanxi Mining Ghana Limited in Talensi, Upper East Region, just three weeks after two others died at the same mine.
Apart from a miner being killed in the latest disaster, another was also injured seriously and fighting for his life at the hospital.
The Wednesday disaster struck as the miners worked underground in the Chinese-owned mine which has buried several people in the past few years.
Loose rocks fell on the miners as they dug the earth for precious minerals, leading to the death of one miner.
