Yahaya Mohammed continued his magical start to the Ghana Premier League with a brace for Aduana Stars in their win over King Faisal at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa while Ahmed Adam returned to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to scare Asante Kotoko from scoring.

Nana Kofi Babil pulled a wonderful show at Dansoman and sparked controversy when he lasted just 15 minutes on the pitch but won the MVP.

Danlad Ibrahim (GK) – Berekum Chelsea: A brilliant output against his parent club Asante Kotoko. The former U17 goalie kept another clean sheet to make it 3 cleans sheets in 3 games. He was great against Kotoko.

Samuel Appiah – Medeama SC: Appiah created endless troubles for the Liberty Professionals left back. Was wonderful overlapping and his passes were accurate. He tackled well and was on top of his game.

Benjamin Abidoo – Berekum Chelsea: The youngster was an absolute delight to watch. He staged a brilliant play against Kotoko and formed an unbreakable wall with his team mates at the back to stop the Porcupine Warriors.

Ahmed Adam – Berekum Chelsea: Ahmed was in a stupendous outing on Sunday. Staged a beautiful performance and the commander of the Chelsea back-four. He ended up winning the man of the match award.

Zakaria Fuseini – Berekum Chelsea: Another wonderful output from Zakaria. His partnership with Ahmed is gradually becoming one for a national team. The two have married their performances and Chelsea are yet to concede a goal. He was great.

James Akaminko – AshGold: James was instrumental as always in getting his side pick their third win in three games. He was the master of ceremony in midfield and orchestrated his side’s attacks. He was phenomenal.

Hanan Wahad – Legon Cities: He played his first game of the season and proved he’s a fighter. He was amazing in midfield against Dreams FC and showed a lot of resilience. He was very defensive and played a major role in getting his side a point from Dawu.

Jeffrey Degorl – Legon Cities: Another MVP for the attacking midfielder. This is his second for the season after his brilliant display against Dreams. He was fantastic.

Joseph Esso – Hearts: Esso’s goal for Hearts to break the virginity of the game against Dwarfs was an absolute delight. The free kick was spot on and he was brilliant in his play as well.

Nana Kofi Babil – Medeama SC: He came on for just 15 minutes and grabbed the equalizer for Medeama. His third goal in three games, all as subs. He won the MVP.

Yahaya Mohammed – Aduana Stars: The striker hit the back of the net twice against King Faisal to take his season tally to 5. He secured the win for his side and was the main man for the game.
