Ghanaian international Enoch Adu Kofi is expected to spend some time on the sidelines after picking up an injury while in action for his AIK Stockholm side over the weekend.
The midfielder was handed some minutes during his team’s friendly match against Rostov on Saturday.
In a preparatory match ahead of the start of the Swedish Cup that ended one-all, Enoch Adu Kofi could not finish the match as he sustained an injury.
He only lasted 38 minutes for AIK and had to be substituted after being on the receiving end of a nasty tackle.
The experienced midfielder had to be attended to on the pitch before he was stretched off to receive further medical attention.
Enoch Adu Kofi is now expected to undergo tests this week to ascertain the extent of his injury but it is understood that he will spend at least a couple of weeks on the sidelines.
Ahead of AIK’s Swedish Cup clash against Jönköpings Södra IF on February 23, 202, it is unlikely the Ghanaian will be able to feature.
