Black Meteors skipper Yaw Yeboah has warned Ghanaians to be watchful about the deadly coronavirus disease and does not want people to joke with it.
According to him, the deadly disease has been taken for granted and has become a matter of jokes in his home country (Ghana) per his checks on social media.
Following the outbreak of coronavirus, football related activities have been halted globally.
Yeboah, who ply his trade for Spanish side Celta Vigo expressed fear with regards to the growing coronavirus pandemic and entreated his compatriot not to joke with the disease.
“I want to tell Ghanaians not to joke with the disease. I have seen people joking with it on social media but it is not a disease that should be taken for granted by Ghanaians”
“It has not been easy for us here (Spain) but we have nothing to do at the moment. Staying at home too is not easy” he added.
