Newly signed Dreams FC striker Abel Manomey says he is not in for personal accolade as his aim is to help the club win laurels.
Manomey joined the club as a free agent after having left Great Olympics two years ago to pursue higher education at the University College of Education, Winneba.
He penned a two year deal with the Dawu based club and is expected to feature when the premier league bounces back.
“I’m not going to Dreams FC to say I’m going to score 30 or 40 goals or to say I’m going to win the goal king. I’m going to Dreams now to be more of a team player so that together we can push the objectives of the club moving from where they are on the league to a good position and that is my main objective” he said.
“I will thank everyone who make the move possible. I know time and posterity will judge with what I brings to the club but they should keep believing like the tortoise journey, it slow but slowly we will get there” he emphasized.
He adds that, when the objectives of the club is achieved the goals itself will come.
