The government has announced the completion of over 3,000 educational projects across the country since 2017, as part of its commitment to improving educational infrastructure and enhancing access to quality education in the country.

According to a report by myjoyonline.com, the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) indicated that these projects reflect the government's dedication to advancing the nation’s educational sector.

The completed initiatives include the construction of new classroom blocks, renovations of existing facilities, and the establishment of modern science laboratories, libraries, and ICT centers.

These developments aim to create a conducive learning environment for students while equipping teachers with essential resources to facilitate effective teaching and learning.

According to the report, the educational projects span all levels of education, including basic schools, senior high schools, and technical institutions.

It noted that the government’s focus on STEM education has further led to the construction of specialised facilities dedicated to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Additionally, it indicated that parents, teachers, and local communities have expressed satisfaction with the projects, noting their positive impact on students' academic performance.

The report added that the government has reaffirmed its commitment to sustain investment in education, with plans to roll out additional projects to meet the growing demands of the country’s educational system.
