A form two student of the Akwatia Technical Institute in the Eastern region has been arrested after he stabbed his teacher with scissors.
The student committed the crime after the teacher, instructed him to stop loitering about after break time.
The victim who sustained life-threatening wound is receiving medical treatment at the Akwatia Hospital.
Parents of the student have been summoned by school authorities over the incident. Reports indicate that the student got agitated after the teacher asked him to stop loitering about and get to his class.
The Police have since commenced investigations into the incident.
