The Vetting Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to hold balloting for all the 14 Nasara Coordinator aspirants after successfully taking them through the vetting process.
The aspirants expressed satisfaction about the performance of the panel after attempts by each person to convince the panel why their names should be on the ballot paper.
According to Ali Suraj, one of the aspirants who spoke to Class FM at the party headquarters on Monday 28 May 2018, he is the best bet for the party adding that none of the other aspirants can match up to him with regards to party commitments and contributions.
Meanwhile, a former Ambassador to Guinea who is also contesting the Nasara Coordinator position, Alhaji Shuaib Musa Sheriff, expressed worry about the increasing number of contestants.
He was of the view that majority of the aspirants have not gone through the party’s system making them amateurs and less qualified for the job.
