68 persons have recovered after testing negative for Coronavirus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,326.
Ghana’s case count has however risen from 11,964 to 12,193 as 229 new cases have been confirmed.
This was announced by the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kumah Aboagye during Tuesday morning’s Minister’s Press Briefing at the Ministry of Information.
Giving further details on the nation's case count Dr. Aboagye disclosed that 4 persons have died from the virus which brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 58 from the previous 54. The new number of casualties is made up of 3 males and a female all recorded in the Greater Accra Region.
Ghana’s COVID-19 positivity rate relative to testing is now pegged at 4.76%.
