Founder and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo has taken a swipe at his presidential contender in the upcoming December polls, John Dramani Mahama.
According to him, Ghanaians won’t sit back to watch Mahama run the country backward when they are looking forward to witnessing development in the country.
He alleged that during former President Mahama’s tenure in office, every sector retrogressed.
"During his tenure, Ghana retrogressed in every sector. We shall not allow him to draw us back again. We are going forward, " he said in an interview with Kingdom FM.
He averred that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama is visionless and must not be given a second chance to rule the country.
Kofi Akpaloo further alleged that Mahama has no campaign message for the general elections, adding that, he only bothers Ghanaians with his old promises anytime he holds his frequent Facebook live encounters.
“John Mahama's message lacks the reassuring ingredients during his consistent Facebook live encounters, which has left many Ghanaians disappointed and disarmed of the fervour that is needed for the 2020 election,” he added.
He, therefore, entreated Ghanaians to vote against John Mahama when the national elections is being held.
