Sammi Awuku takes NPP 2024 ‘Gospel’ into ghettos, other areas in Accra

Former National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Mr Sammi Awuku, has stormed isolated suburbs in the Greater Accra Region, preaching to them the 2024 Gospel of the party ahead of the December polls.

Mr. Awuku, who has consistently maintained that the 2024 polls are very crucial, met with various minority groups in these areas, commonly referred to as Ghettos, where he explained in detail the manifesto of the party and how they would benefit.

To this end, he urged them to vote for the party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies.

The surprise visit took the Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Akuapem North to the Odododiodio and Korle Klottey constituencies.

“This election is about your future and that of your children. Let us rally behind the NPP that has proven to have your welfare at heart as we go into the polls in less than a month away. We have no excuse not to vote for the NPP since it is the party that prioritises the welfare and the education of your wards”, he urged.

He later joined the Sweepers, comprising dedicated young professionals, NPP supporters from the BoysBoys and GirlsGirls groups to engage communities in the NPP’s vision, mobilising supporters across constituencies as the party’s momentum continues to build.

Sammi Awuku revealed that the move is a show of support for their presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and parliamentary hopefuls, hopeful in the party's victory.
