Sticka exposed over impeccable academic records

A leading member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Communications Team, Alfred Thompson, has questioned the intellectual capacity of Dr Stephen Amoah.

It will be recalled that while addressing delegates, Dr Stephen Amoah indicated that even with his credentials, he was overlooked, even though Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo wanted to make him the finance minister.

He blamed his inability to become Minister on the fact that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia wanted his tribesman to become the finance minister.

Addressing this while speaking on Accra-based Metro TV, Alfred Thompson expressed shock over Sticka’s decision to grade himself superior above a colleague in the same political party.

To him, such actions mar the image of the political party and should not be encouraged.

On Dr Stephen Amoah’s credentials, he cast doubt about him being part of the top 10 economists in Ghana, indicating that he will not even make the cut when 10 economists are selected in Ghana.

“It is delusional to say you are better than someone,” Thompson said. “These are some of the little things that cost us the 2024 elections.”

“Which ranking was used?” he asked. “Even if you Google the top 10 economists in Ghana, his name is not there, let alone the world.”
