If you are in business, and your liabilities were three times higher than your assets, it simply means you are operating at a huge loss, and that guy Amoabeng was operating a failed bank.

John Mahama was supporting him with monies from the state coffers, something the NPP government did not do hence his hatred towards the president.

The banking sector clean-up was the instructions given to NDC and John Mahama by the IMF, but Mahama failed to act on it fearing backlash. When NPP came into office, Ghana was under the IMF, so they have no option than to act on the banking sector clean-up.
