Miracles Aboagye slams Mahama over Finance–Agric ministry funding dispute
Former presidential staffer Dennis Miracles Aboagye has blamed President John Dramani Mahama for the ongoing disagreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture over the release of funds for agricultural programmes.
Speaking on Joy News’ AM Show, the former presidential staffer said the public dispute points to a leadership problem at the highest level of government.
According to him, tensions within the administration have existed for some time and the latest clash between the two ministries is evidence of that.
“This is just the result of a long-standing issue that has been going on within this government that the president has been weak in addressing,” he said.
Aboagye argued that the matter goes beyond the disagreement over agricultural funding and reflects deeper challenges within the government.
“We have a very weak leader,” he added.
