MP for Wassa Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe
The Member of Parliament for Wassa Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has issued a stern warning to independent candidates and their supporters in her constituency, cautioning them against laying claim to government-initiated development projects and employment interventions.
Speaking at a gathering of National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters, Joana Gyan Cudjoe stressed that the visible progress in the constituency is the direct result of the collective efforts of the NDC administration, led by President John Dramani Mahama, working in collaboration with party executives, ministers, and local government leadership.
"It is misleading and disingenuous for individuals to attempt to take credit for policies and employment opportunities that are clearly the result of the NDC’s strategic vision for national development," Joana Gyan Cudjoe stated.
She cautioned that such actions are not merely attempts to rewrite the narrative of progress but calculated efforts to stir disaffection between constituents and the NDC leadership.
The MP emphasised that the developmental strides witnessed across the country are the result of the party’s specific policy frameworks and its firm commitment to national transformation.
"Let us breathe, think, eat, and sing NDC as we work together to advance the ‘Reset Ghana’ agenda for economic sustainability and national progress," she urged.
In her address, the legislator called for absolute unity within the party, urging members to remain focused on strengthening the NDC’s presence at the grassroots level.
She warned internal and external detractors against engaging in sabotage or any activities that could undermine the party’s cohesion and its ongoing development agenda.
Reflecting on the party’s significance to its members, Joana Gyan Cudjoe described the NDC as "our heart, our blood, our anchor, our family, and our everything."
She took the opportunity to commend the loyal party faithful who have remained steadfast in their commitment to the party’s ideals despite the political challenges.
Highlighting the "significant developmental strides" achieved by President John Dramani Mahama's administration across various sectors, the MP called on Ghanaians to maintain their support for the government’s vision of national transformation.
She concluded by reiterating that discipline, unity, and a collective commitment to the party’s manifesto are the essential ingredients required to ensure long-term political success and the continued prosperity of the Wassa Amenfi Central constituency and the nation at large.
