Ghanaian media personality Afia Pokua, popularly known as Vim Lady, has criticised former Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, over his recent comments and outbursts against the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to her, Kennedy Agyapong’s recent remarks and interview were unnecessary at this point in time.

Speaking in a self-recorded video shared on social media, she suggested that his public comments could potentially strengthen the position of his former presidential primary rival, Dr Bryan Acheampong, in future political contests.

She also commended his spokesperson, Kwesi Kwarteng, for the calm manner in which he has been handling the situation.

Kennedy Agyapong’s recent criticism wasn’t needed. He has kept quiet all this while and I don’t know what prompted him to grant that interview. It wasn’t like there was something urgent that needed to be addressed, so that interview wasn’t necessary at all,” she said.

Meanwhile, Kennedy Agyapong recently criticised the NPP and threatened to expose certain individuals within the party between June and July 2027.

He alleged that some party members had wronged him and insisted he would reveal damaging information about them at the appropriate time.
