Edmund Kyei endorses John Boadu, JFK for NPP executive positions

Former Parliamentary Candidate for Asokwa, Edmund Kyei, has endorsed some candidates ahead of the party’s national executive elections.

In a statement issued on August 21, 2026, Kyei threw his support behind John Boadu for National Chairman and Justin Kodua Frimpong (JFK) for National Secretary.

“After careful consideration and listening to the views and concerns of the grassroots, I have decided to endorse John Boadu for National Chairman and Justin Kodua Frimpong (JFK) for National Secretary of the NPP,” he stated.

Kyei said his endorsement was based on his belief in the two candidates’ experience, commitment, leadership qualities and ability to contribute to building a stronger and more united party.

He said the NPP would need national executives capable of uniting the grassroots, strengthening the party’s structures and providing focused leadership as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections.

“As we look towards elections 2028, we need national executives who can unite the grassroots, strengthen our structures, listen to our members, and provide focused leadership. I believe John Boadu and Justin Kodua Frimpong can play important roles in achieving this,” he said.

Kyei stressed that his endorsement was centred on unity, organisation and a shared vision for the future of the party.

“This endorsement is about unity, organisation, hard work, and a shared vision for the future. Let us respect one another, work together, and put the interests of the party first,” he added.
