Politics is about service, not self-gain – Titus-Glover

New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Organiser hopeful and former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Titus-Glover, says his ongoing campaign has reinforced his conviction that politics must be driven by humility, service to humanity and genuine relationships rather than personal interests.

According to him, his interactions with party members across the country have taught him valuable lessons about leadership and the responsibility that comes with serving others.

“I have learnt and experienced a lot. But I take consolation in the fact that I was born to serve. Serve with humility, how to build relationships, and the fact that politics is about service to humanity and not self-gain or interests,” he indicated.

According to a report by adomonline.com on August 28, 2026, Titus-Glover said the campaign had given him the opportunity to engage directly with members of the NPP and better understand their concerns, expectations and aspirations.

He said he had so far visited 15 regions and about 246 constituencies, describing the experience as valuable in shaping his understanding of grassroots politics and leadership.

“The campaign is going very well. I have been to 15 regions, which is about 246 constituencies. God willing, I will end it all in the Ashanti region next week,” he stated.

Titus-Glover said the reception from party members had also been encouraging, with many of them reminding him of his years of service and track record within the NPP.

“And everywhere I go, people remind me about the fact that I have served diligently all these years and they know my track record,” he noted.

He said the assurances from members had strengthened his resolve to contribute to the party’s efforts to recapture power in the 2028 general elections.

“They have assured to vote for me as the party seeks to recapture power in 2028,” he said.

The NPP National Organiser hopeful disclosed that he takes notes during his engagements with members, documenting their concerns and suggestions for consideration in his plans for the party.

“After speaking, I take notes in my notebook writing their concerns and feedback,” he noted.

He explained that the feedback from the grassroots would guide his approach to rebuilding the party and securing victory for the NPP and its 2028 presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
